About the project

The first publication from the Steve Jobs Archive brings together speeches, correspondence and interviews, with an introduction by Laurene Powell Jobs and editing by Leslie Berlin. LoveFrom designed the book, with Work & Co contributing to the digital edition.

The physical edition uses a restrained grey cover, an inset portrait, blue accents and LoveFrom Serif throughout. Archival photographs and documents punctuate the text. The digital edition makes the material freely accessible and carries the same typographic character into the browser.

Its importance within the studio’s work is both personal and typographic. The book connects Ive’s long collaboration with Jobs to LoveFrom’s developing visual language, while placing that language in the service of another person’s voice.
